Mountain Biking

With 15 miles of single track and 20 plus mile of double track our progression of trails offers adventure for bikers of all abilities. Trails open May 7th and close around November 1st. We offer high-quality bike rentals through Giant Bicycles as well as repair services and riding lessons.

Tennis and Pickleball: 

Our resort offers four red clay tennis courts and tennis programs for all levels of skill, energy, and interest. Court 3 is lined for pickleball as well. For more information, racquet rentals or to reserve a court please contact our fitness center. Courts are closed for the season and reopen in the Spring.

Hiking

We offer more than 35 miles of wooded hiking trails where hikers of all levels of ability can enjoy breathtaking views and lush greenery.

Rentals, Lessons & Trail Passes

Our Outdoor Center offers mountain bike, snowshoe, cross-country and backcountry ski rentals.

Sleigh & Carriage Rides

Experience the natural beauty of Trapp Family Lodge and its extraordinary mountaintop setting on a horse-drawn wagon ride. This fun-filled adventure through scenic pastures and woods is open to children and adults. Take in the scenery with a group of family and friends or a private intimate ride with your sweetheart or family.

Sleigh  rides will be offered on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays from 12 - 3 PM. Reservations are required. Call Mike Martell at 802.734.1070.

Snowshoeing

Our resort offers ample terrain where you can snowshoe on your own or with a scheduled group tour.

Backcountry Skiing:

On our 2,500 acres, we've identified 25 miles of perfect territory for laying tracks on un-groomed snow. Backcountry gear rentals are available, with 24-hour advance notice.

We have 37 miles of groomed trails and 62 miles of backcountry trails suitable for cross-country skiers of all ages and abilities.

Massage & Gym

Indoor Pool

Our indoor heated pool is open year round and a place to relax at after an intense day on the trails or on the slopes.

Outdoor Pool - Closed for the season 

Our family outdoor heated pool is located just below the fitness center. The pool is open during the spring and summer months and heated to 82 degrees.

Hot Tub

Enjoy the mountain views while relaxing in our large outdoor hot tub.

Yoga

Good morning yoga is offered Monday - Friday from 9am - 10am in our Mozart Room. To reserve your spot in one of our classes or to book a private session, contact our Fitness Center.

Kids staying at our lodge can enjoy exciting activities that explore the beauty of Vermont. Arts and crafts, nature scavenger hunts, singalongs and farm animal walks are just a few of the fun experiences they will enjoy.
